Day 1: Casablanca –Arrival:
Casablanca trips ,arrive into Casablanca International airport, and drive you to our Hotel to check in, as we can take for Dinner at Rick’s Cafe if your prefer. Overnight will be at Hotel BB
Day 02: Casablanca- Rabat – Chefchaouen:
After Breakfast at your Hotel. In Casablanca we’ll visit Hassan II Mosque, the biggest mosque out of Mecca. Experience the Cornich coast before departing for Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Here you’ll see the Mosoleum, the Hassan tower and the oudaya Kasbah. Afterwards, travel to chefchaouen via the city of Ouazzan. Most of the drive will be by the coast. Get to Chefchaouen on the afternoon; here you will be accommodated in Riad . BB.
Day3: Exploring Chefchaouen:
After breakfast in your hotel you will start exploring the Medina. Chefchaouen is a beautiful unique city with its white wached walls and its blue doors, and windows. Unlike many parts of Morocco, Chefchaouen was occupied by Spain; therefore there is much influence of the Spanish civilisation and architecture. You have the opportunity to meet locals and walk in this beautiful Medina. Overnig in Riad .BB
Day4: Chefchaouen Volubilis Meknes Fes:
After breakfast in the hotel, and after exploring the city of Chefchaouen we travel south via Ouazzan towards to Volubilis, the well preserved Roman empire dating to 225BC, where some mosaics as still in very good shape, after that we travel to Meknes ,the ismaili capital of Morocco. In Meknes we see the fascinating gate Bab Mansour built by the sultan My Ismail, the granary and the Sahrij Souani used for irrigation and plantation. We continue via the highway to Fes. Overnight accommodation at Riad or Hotel . BB
Day 5: Exploring Fes:
After breakfast in your riad , you will start an explorative journey of the cultural capital of Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by the Royal Palace, the Jewish headquarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco. We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University,the oldest in the region, and the Tanneries. After lunch, you will visit the ceramique factory and have a panoramique view over the whole Medina of Fes. On the afternoon, we will visit the new city for a drink. Day06: Fes Azrou Midlet Ziz Valley Merzouga :
After breakfast in your riad, you’ll leave Fes travelling towards Ifran, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco” and then to Merzouga. During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Highe Atlas mountains. Stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco – where you may well sight Barbarian apes. On to Merzouga, you will also experience the real Berber culture and enjoy the beauty of the Moroccoan landscape. Your journey continues to Merzouga along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way. We will drive through welcoming Berber villages to Erfoud, and then Rissani, the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Arrive to Merzouga at the end of the afternoon. You’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you check in Riad . (DBB)
Day 07: Merzouga area and the Camel trek:
After breakfast in the Hotel you will start an explorative journey of the area. You’ll visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle. Not far away there’s the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations. You may also visit the nomad wire house where many Berber handicrafts are priced lower than in the big cities. On the afternoon you will mount your camel, guided by an experienced Camel guide crossing the sand dunes, to overnight in our Camp. DBB.
Day 08: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges :260km
If you like, early in the morning, we will wake you up to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. You’ll peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga. Enroute you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast in the riad, you’ll leave for Rissani , Tinghir, and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Day 09:Dades Gorge Boutaghrar Skoura Ouarzazat: 140km
After breakfast in the hotel we’ll drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazat. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. We’ll stop at Kalaa Mgouna, “the rose city”, to purchase the rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over. Continue to Skoura and the dirds valley; visit the Kasbah Ameridil, a well-preserved kasbah in this area. After some hiking in the valley stop in a restaurant, overlooking the whole valley, for lunch. On to Ouarzazate , “the Hollywood of Africa”, whose geography and beautiful landscapes has attracted many world class movie producers. Here you may choose to visit the studios, containing props used in movies such as The Mummy, Gladiator and the Last temptation of Christ. .. Overnight accommodation will be in riad (BDB)
Day10: Ouarzazat the Kasbahs Taliouine Taroudant:
After breakfast in your riad you will leave fortaroudant via the Taliouine. Today, you will see the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest one in Morocco,and the place where the movie Gladiator was made.
On Taliouine, if your visit coincides with the Safran harvest, you will have the opportunity to meet the Berber women with their families picking the safran leaves in their fields. We should arrive at Taroudant in the afternoon, where you will explore the “little Marrakech” and its monuments starting with a visit to the Kasbah and the ramparts; the alleys of the medina. Taroudant was built by the Saadian dynasty in the 16th century before they moved to Marrakech. Taroudant is referred to as the “little Marrakech” for its red walls and narrow alleys. Day11: Taroudant Agadir Essaouira:
After breakfast in your riad , you will have a short trip to the small Berber village of Tiout. The Atlas mountains in Morocco are the home of the Berbers, you will enjoy the walk in that village and the Palmery , the place where the movie “Ali Baba and the40 thieves” was filmed. After that leave to Essaouira, travelling via Agadir, where we’ll stop for lunch. Agadir has a very big beautiful beach and has been a very big tourist destination for many years. The coastal route to Essaouira offers beautiful scenery, an area famous for the Argan ; here you will see herds of goats climbing the Argan trees looking for better food they can’t find on the ground. Day12/13: Exploring Essaouira:
Breakfast at the hotel in Essaouira, then start our explorative journey of the city. You’ll visit the Skala Fortress; see Thuya wood carved by artisans; walk through the alleys of the medina and view hundreds of handicrafts.
The “City of the wind” attracts surfers from all over the world.
Essaouira knew many civilisations – including the Portuguese occupation, which affects much of its architecture – however, it remains a small village with much history. Because of its size and its characteristic blue doors and washed walls, it is also regarded as Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantics. Our visit includes the Mellah – the Jewish headquarter, and the beach. There is an annual festival of “Gnawa music”, where many musical groups come from different parts of Africa and the world. Usually it starts in the second week of June, so if your trip coincides with this, you have the option to extend your stay for an extra day.
Today you will have lunch in a Moroccan way, bought fishes ‘cooked to order’.

After breakfast in your riad, depart for Marrakech. On our way – since this is the land of Argan culture – this is an opportunity to visit the women’s co-operative of Argan oil where they extract the oil that is famous for its culinary, cosmetic and medical properties. After several stops to take photographs, you will continue your travel to Marrakech and check in to your riad at the beginning of the afternoon. After dinner you will enjoy walking within the famous square of Jemaa Elfna, entertained with magicians, story tellers, musicians and snake charmers. Overnight Riad Caesar. BB
Day15: Exploring Marrakech:
After breakfast in the riad , you can start exploring Marrakech ” the red city of Morocco”. Your guide will ensure that you see the most important places of historical and cultural interest, including the Saadian tombs; the Palace of El Bahia and the Ben Youssef Coranic School. Lunch at a restaurant near the square, then in the afternoon visit the gardens at Majorelle, and the Koutoubia tower. After dinner you will have the opportunity to walk through the square entertained with magicians, story-tellers, tooth-pullers and food sellers. Overnight accommodation will be in your riad. BB
Day16: Marrakech transfer to the airport.
After Breakfast in your riad, we will drive you to the airport for your flight . Tour ends at the airport.
